Hey thanks for reading the piece. in 1910 the US conducted a roundabout study, employing the system I described in the piece. It failed and they never revisited the concept of making roundabouts a nationwide system. The US never tried to implement the UK system, (drivers in the roundabout have the right of way.) There are of course a few places in the US that have roundabouts. I’ve seen some in NJ. But as you know, they are not the preferred way to go.
